Why do People Choose Fast Food?
If you're in a rush after a hard days work, or in a rush to grab some food in a hurry or just don't want to take the time to make a meal then what do you do? Fast food has drawn in young children as well as adults because the children go to McDonalds for the toys and the parents let them run around in the playstructure to get a quiet brake to talk. Most people look for the nearest McDonald's or Burger King and pull in the drive through and order a burger, fries and a Coke. But do you really know what you are putting into your body? What is Bad about Eating too much Fast Food and Bad Nutrition?
Of course the main issues with people eating too much fast food is high blood cholesterol, clogged arteries which leads to heart attacks or ever heart failure as well as the most well known problem obesity. The reason for people eating too much fast food and becoming obese is that the same food portion has more fat in it than a normal meal, which means we end up eating more fat than should be taken in per meal. The effects of poor nutrition are:low bone density, slowed growth, decreased alertness, higher risk of getting sick, cancer, diabetes and overall shorten your life span.
What are Some Healthy Alternatives for Fast Food?
The problem with fast food is that most people don't even consider the healthy options at the food court or drive through. Next time you go to McDonalds try having a salad but watch the dressing. If you know that there won't be time to have a meal, then plan ahead. In the morning make a lunch or a ligh snack. Stock up on snacks like trailmix, granola bars and prewashed vegetables.
Or just order a water instead of that large Coke, even small changes can make a difference; order a yogurt or even just ask for no mayonaise on your club sandwich.

People should try to eat as little fast food as possible and get the required amount of physical activity per day.
